Masters of Divinity

A masters of divinity degree is necessary to become a church pastor or to work in the area of Christian ministry. In many cases, any individual who wants to be ordained and licensed as a full-time church minister has to graduate with a Masters of Divinity (M.Div) degree. The program of study can usually be completed in about three to four years depending on whether one is part time or full time, and the particular program one chooses to enroll in.
